Murphy Chiropractic opened in April of 2025 by Dr. Kevin Murphy for the sole purpose of providing an alternative means for treating acute and chronic discomfort through chiropractic care and soft tissue manipulation.

We believe in addressing the source of the pain by correcting the disfunction. Dr. Murphy uses his knowledge and experience as a critical care paramedic working alongside some of the best physicians in the world along with his holistic approach to provide the best well-rounded care possible for his patients.

We believe that all forms of medicine and patient care have a place in providing the best outcome for those sick and in pain. Dr. Murphy is an advocate for all forms of care for the quickest and most successful outcome to all conditions. He believes the true measurement of success is the ability of his patients to live a fuller and happier life where one can explore life to its fullest with minimal discomfort.

Meet the Doctor

Kevin Murphy, doctor of chiropractic

Dr. Murphy’s goal is simple: to help patients achieve their full potential and optimal health through exceptional chiropractic care.

Dr. Kevin Murphy grew up in a small town in central Texas along the Brazos River. He moved to southeast Tn during his junior year of high school. Shortly after graduation he joined the US Army as an airborne combat medic, where he spent 81/2 years serving his country. After an honorable discharge from the service, he worked as a critical care paramedic in the southeast Tn for the next 22 years.

While working as a critical care paramedic, Dr. Murphy also attended college at Chattanooga State Technical College and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for his undergrad studies. In 2016 he enrolled into Life University Chiropractic School in Marietta Ga. He graduated with Cum Lauda Honors from Life University in December of 2020.

Shortly after graduation Dr. Murphy worked at Ford Chiropractic in LaFayette, Ga for 2 years and then at Premier Chiropractic in Columbus Ga for 2 years. 

Dr. Murphy married his long-time childhood love Deseri, in October of 2021. Dr Murphy and his wife purchased their dream home in Lafayette Ga in 2021. After a short stay in Columbus Ga, they are both excited to get back home to north Georgia and continue making memories.

Dr. Murphy and Deseri have 7 beautiful children through a blending family ranging from 32 to 12. Dr. Murphy enjoys being outdoors working in the yard, playing in his workshop, hiking and watching his children play sports.
